The Windows Credential Store of the ScriptRunner service on the backend is used to store access information from administrative accounts.
To increase security against various hacker tools that may be used by internal attackers against the ScriptRunner infrastructure, all account information in the Credential Store will be additionally encrypted from version 2016 onwards. The internal access now takes place via a specially generated GUID, the credentials cannot be accessed and misused between Credentials Store and ScriptRunner Service.
