Data protection

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. If personal data (such as, name, address or email addresses) are recorded in our website, this is always done on voluntary basis whenever possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by email) can have security gaps. It is not possible to ensure the complete protection of data against access by third parties.

Some Internet sites use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are saved by your browser and stored on your computer. Most of the cookies we use are known as "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website.

You can set your browser so that you are informed if cookies are installed, only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information in what are known as server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. They provide the following data: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, and time of the server request. These data cannot be assigned to specific persons. These data are not combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to check these data subsequently if we become aware of concrete indications of an illegal use.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries using the contact form, your details in the enquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored for processing the enquiry and any follow-up questions. We do not pass these data on.

Newsletter data

If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further information from you is voluntary. We use these data exclusively for the dispatch of the requested information and do not pass them on to third parties.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the email address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "Unsubscribe" link in the newsletter.

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This will cause your IP address to be abbreviated by Google within Member States of the European Union or in Member States of the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. Google will use this information, on behalf of the operator of this website, to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide the website operator with other services relating to website and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser plugin

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and prevent Google from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link:

Disabling data collection

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out browser add-on is installed which prevents the collection of your data on future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.

More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google's privacy policy:

Contract data processing

We have concluded a contract with Google for processing order data and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities for the use of Google Analytics.

Google Analytics’ demographic features

This website uses the "demographic features" function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain information on the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-related advertising by Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time from your Google Account ad preferences or prevent Google Analytics from collecting your information as described in the "Opt-out of data collection" section.

Google AdWords

As an AdWords customer, we also use Google Conversion Tracking, an analysis service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). Google Adwords installs a cookie on your computer ("conversion cookie") if you have accessed our website via a Google ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of ours and the cookie has not expired, we and Google may recognize that someone clicked on the ad and was redirected to our page. Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be traced through the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they will not receive any information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also reject the installation of the cookie required for this - for example by using a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the "" domain.

Conversion measurement with the visitor tracking pixel from Facebook

With your consent, we use the "visitor tracking pixel", from Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"), within our website. It allows us to track the actions of users who have seen or clicked on a Facebook ad. This enables us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e. we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, and we inform you of this to the extent of our knowledge. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes, in accordance with Facebook's Data Usage Policy You can allow Facebook and its partners to connect to ads both within and outside of Facebook. A cookie may also be installed in your computer for these purposes.

This consent may only be given by users older than 13 years of age. If you are younger, we ask your guardians for advice.

Communication via Facebook Messenger

This feature uses the Facebook Messenger, from Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"), as an additional communication medium. The data and contents of the communication are processed via servers in the USA. Facebook also evaluates the metadata of the communication for advertising purposes, but not the content of the messages.
